The population of young adults in Hennepin County rose 25 percent over the past seven years, the Star Tribune reports. This is one of the largest increases in the nation. The good news for employers is that the reason for the increase in 20- and 30-somethings appears to be economics and the job market. With one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation and low cost of living, the Twin Cities stands out among similar-sized cities in on the coasts.
