Marin Clean Energy signs new contract that cuts carbon emissions

Marin Clean Energy has signed a new $20 million contract with Calpine Corp. that will further reduce the carbon emissions produced by the electricity it sells to its customers. Under the 33-month agreement, Marin Clean Energy has the option of buying between 10 megawatts and 15 megawatts of electricity from Houston-based Calpine.
