A Spacecraft Operations and FDIR Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery engineer is required to support the Operations FDIR team leader to fulfil operationsrelated activities on the ExoMars rover project for which AirbusDS is Prime Contractor. Responsibilities will include support to Operations and safety synthesis Operational scenario definition and analysis Spacecraft operational constraints identification and analysis System FDIR consolidation and fine tuning Mission Operations timeline definition System TM and TC budgets Ground Processing requirements definition Project and customer interface Participation in project technical and progress meetings participation to system and equipment reviews provision of inputs to system progress report System SW definition Provision of System Software Specification inputs to SW architect. Review of SW architecture, design and test documentation Spacecraft User Manual SUM SUM preparation and maintenance Definition of nominal and contingency Flight Operational Procedures Spacecraft testing Operations and FDIR validation plan and corresponding test results assessment Support customer ESOC during System Validation Tests preparation and execution Provision of Operations Support during spacecraft AITAIV including system test definition and execution Inflight operations Supporting the operation centre during LEOP and commissioning phase including the prelaunch simulation campaigns Inflight performance verification and data analysis Essential The successful candidate will have a degree in a related subject such as engineering, physics or mathematics Previous experience of spacecraft operations preparation activities or spacecraft in flight operations Fluency in spoken and written English Desirable Familiarity with the ECSS operations related standards, especially the Telemetry and Telecommand Packet Utilisation Standard Experience of interfacing with customer teams Systems Engineering andor Software Engineering experience Please apply for this vacancy on line at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached. CS is therefore looking for engineers able to bring support to the PDGS Payload Data Ground Segment Engineering and Management Services of ESRIN Italy for the design, implementation, integration, validation, commissioning and operations activities The support covers the following areas integration and acceptance of data processing elements preparation of PDGS Commissioning Phase and routine operations procurement for PDGS including interfaces with external entities for the use of data from external sources PDGS infrastructure implementation and evolution Mission Planning SW Interface and Validation Support to PDGS Progress Reviews Payload and downlink planning activities Data acquisition, processing and dissemination Mission performance monitoring control Assembly, Integration and Validation of systems, subsystems, components on the PDGS Reference Platform HW, SW and network configuration Mandatory skill experience 5 years in earth observation ground segment area Additional skills considered as an advantage Experience with Earth Observation satellite, Experience in requirement verification, operational validation and commissioning Experience in assembly, integration, validation process Knowledge in ground segment network Knowledge in mission analysis Solid Working knowledge in English language.
