Federal officials announced Monday that the deadline for uninsured persons to enroll in a health insurance marketplace plan has been extended to Sunday for those who tried but were unable to complete their application by Sunday's deadline due to the weekend's lengthy wait time or technical issues such as verifying their income. Those affected will still have coverage effective March 1 if they complete their applications by Sunday.
