Used as topcoat in label and packaging printing applications, Michem Flex R1930 improves adhesion of inks, including UV-cured inks, to printed labels and flexible packaging substrates. Chemical-resistant product, also suited for film converters or printers who produce packaging and labels for use in harsh environments, can be applied using gravure, flexo, and other coating methods. Effective at coat weight of 0.5 gsm dry, primer dries clear.

Approved for use on Xeikon digital presses, 100% aqueous DigiPrime 4453 promotes rub resistance and ink adhesion to IML films. This flexo- and gravure-ready primer, Xeikon-approved for use with its dry toners, will not yellow or lose print receptivity over time, is effective for in-mold label printing, and is suitable for food contact. Other applications include digitally printed labels and flexible packaging. Product can also be used in conventional offset and UV printing applications.
