Future Studies Technology Development Engineer J2892 Summary An experienced and knowledgeable engineer required to support ESA within Technology Coordination Frequency Management Section. Objective The coordination of technology activities performed within ESA and the relevant technology requirements derived from the new concepts proposed for EO missions. IntegraGen, a leading player in the development and marketing of molecular diagnostic testing in oncology and autism, today announced the presentation of two studies during the 2015 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting focusing on the association between miR-31-3p expression and clinical outcomes in metastatic colorectal cancer patients treated with panitumumab or cetuximab. The data presented further validates previous studies which have documented that miR-31-3p expression in the primary tumor of mCRC patients is predictive of the effect of anti-EGFR therapy.

Clovis Oncology's Phase 2 Studies of Rucaparib in Ovarian Cancer...

Clovis Oncology today announced updated Phase 2 results from two ongoing clinical studies with rucaparib: ARIEL2 and Study 10. Rucaparib is the Company's investigational oral, potent, small molecule inhibitor of PARP1 and PARP2 being developed for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer, specifically in patients with BRCA mutations and other DNA repair deficiencies beyond BRCA, commonly referred to as "BRCA-like." Updated data from the ARIEL2 study in 204 patients with advanced ovarian cancer are being presented Monday in an oral presentation by Professor Iain McNeish at the 2015 American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting in Chicago.

For one of our main customers ESAESTEC, we are looking for a Future Studies Technology Development Engineer to give support to the Earth Observation Mission. The role of the EOPSF Division is to prepare new Earth observation EO missions and technologies. The work includes the coordination of technology activities performed within ESA and the relevant technology requirements derived from the new concepts proposed for EO missions. This includes contributions to the definition, evaluation and followup of technology developments and their implication in terms of system performance, together with experts in the Division, in the rest of the EO Directorate and in the Technical and Quality Management Directorate DTEC. Additionally, phase 0 and phase A studies of new Earth Science and Earth Application missions are conducted in the Division. The Technology Coordination Section is responsible for the identification of technology requirements for future Earth Observation missions and contributes to the establishment of the EO strategy for technology development. A solid collaboration with the other divisions in the EO directorate and ESAs technical directorate is essential for this work. The nature of the work requires a wide spectrum knowledge in engineering physics with a natural inclination for learning and understanding new technologies. Tasks and Responsibilities The main tasks of the Technology Development Engineer will include development of analyses and software supporting the development of technology for future EO missions, in particular in the areas of mission analysis attitude determination and control satellite platform performance system budgeting payload interfaces EO mission performance support missions under preparation through participation to reviews, assessment of industrial results maintaining and improving the Earth Observation technology database providing support to studies that are conducted within the technology coordination section support the identification of the technology requirements for future Earth observations missions, including in support of European industries competitiveness providing support to technology developments for future Earth Observation missions, that are conducted in the technology coordination section support ESAs technology harmonisation process support missions under preparation through participation to reviews, assessment of industrial results maintaining and improving the Earth Observation technology database providing support to technology developments within the new and prospective ESA member states Poland, Romania, Hungary, Estonia and PECS countries Experience and Education University degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification. Solid knowledge of techniques used in Earth Observation missions Solid background and experience in satellite system and subsystem technology, with strong simulation development skills. Experience relevant to the task description. Proficient in the English language Spoken and Written.
