Superconductor Technologies Inc. , a world leader in the development and production of high temperature superconducting materials and associated technologies, announced its Conductus wire attained a new record for current handling performance of greater than 900 Amps at 77 kelvin in self field with 12 millimeter wide wire. This record breaking wire was produced with STI's new RCE production system.
