While previously scheduled as spring 2014 event, WESTEC will now take place October 15–17, 2013 at Los Angeles Convention Center due to increased industry demand and participant feedback. Christine Longroy, WESTEC event manager, noted American manufacturing sector's "renewed strength and economic vitality" and expressed desire to capitalize on this progress.
