EPA Announces Revised Fuel Economy Label Estimates for 2013 Ford C-Max; Initiates Effort to ...

As part of U.S. EPA's commitment to ensuring consumers are given accurate fuel economy values, agency is revising estimates for the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. EPA tested the C-Max after receiving consumer complaints that the vehicle did not achieve label values of 47 mpg for highway, city, and combined driving. New fuel economy estimates for Ford 2013 C-Max are 43 mpg combined, 45 mpg city, and 40 mpg highway. Ford is voluntarily re-labeling the vehicles with these new values. IPC'S Revised 2013 PCB Forecast Lowered but still Positive

According to IPC's monthly North American Printed Circuit Board Statistical Program, total North American PCB shipments decreased 3.4% in June 2013 from June 2012, and bookings decreased 6.1% year over year. Year to date, PCB industry shipments were down 4.7% and bookings were down 1.3%. Compared to previous month, PCB shipments in June were up by 12.0%, but bookings were down 3.6%. Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission issued final order approving significant revisions to state's interconnection rules. Revised rules mark 3 advances that were recommended or supported by IREC: (1) definition of "interconnection customer" now clarifies that net-metered systems can be owned by third-party; (2) multi-tiered approach to evaluating interconnection requests; and (3) eliminating requirement for external disconnect switch for Tier 1 systems.
