After a public hearing Monday, selectmen approved the transfer of a Class I automobile sales license from Mr. Krause of Tri-State Automotive Associates Inc. to Sean and Michael McGee Inc., doing business as McGee Toyota of Dudley. McGee Toyota president Robert M. McGee Jr. of Norwell told selectmen he operates two other community-oriented dealerships and plans to adopt the same approach in Dudley.

A ROGUE Black Country car dealer has landed a court bill of more than A 6,000 after misleading a Dudley car buyer about the mileage of a vehicle. Arvinder Singh Gill, of Newbridge Crescent, Wolverhampton, admitted selling a BMW 316 advertised as 75,000 miles, when in fact the vehicle had done 133,000 miles.

A Dudley Shoals man is in jail after authorities say he received 10 pounds of marijuana from United Parcel Service last month. An investigation of 25-year-old Logan Nathaniel Brown, of Campground Road, began in July when sheriff's office Ice agents learned Brown was having large amounts of marijuana shipped to him from California, according to a press release issued by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office.
