Enhancements have been approved for ASTM D7611, Standard Practice for Coding Plastic Manufactured Articles for Resin Identification, which was first issued in 2010 and covers Resin Identification Code (RIC) system. Revisions modernize RIC system, promoting effective utilization across stakeholder community while addressing recent innovations in polymer applications and multi-layer materials.
