Modeling The Installed Performance Of A SATCOM Antenna On A UAV
2014-03-13 14:39:22| rfglobalnet News Articles
The installed performance of an 8 GHz SATCOM reflector antenna on a UAV platform is modeled using Delcross Savant. Full 3D far field radiation patterns are computed and animated as the gimbaled antenna assembly is rotated through 360 degrees under a radome inside the forward UAV sensor compartment. Savant provides efficient high frequency EM simulation of installed antennas using an asymptotic shooting and bouncing rays (SBR) technique.

Arcturus UAV and Urban Robotics Fly 3-D Imager
2014-01-24 06:00:00| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The GeoDragon sensor system has now been integrated and flown on an Arcturus UAV T-20 Tier II unmanned aerial vehicle. The sensor system is enclosed in a wing-mounted pod and is capable of high resolution 2-D and 3-D image capture. The sensor was designed by Urban Robotics in Portland, Oregon. The aircraft was built by Arcturus UAV in Rohnert Park, California. The GeoDragon system can create 3-D reconstructions in near-real time and output high-resolution digital ...This story is related to the following:Transportation Industry ProductsOptics and PhotonicsSearch for suppliers of: Image Sensors | Aircraft Sensors | Image Analysis Systems |
