Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies was featured in Science 2034 - a collection of essays sponsored through The Science Coalition, a nonprofit organization that advocates for federal investment in scientific research. Deepak Vashishth, the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies's director, envisions a world through which manipulating proteins will change how doctors address diseases connected to aging - like Osteoporosis, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
