Students at this Quaker college in Pennsylvania helped launch the campus divestment movement, which is now active at hundreds of universities across North America, Europe and Australia. Guardian: Student activists have occupied a historic hall at Swarthmore College, the alma mater of the United Nations climate chief, demanding the university cut its ties to fossil fuels. The Occupy movement has been well documented, but the activists in Todd Darling's satisfying "Occupy the Farm" took a different approach to their 2012 battle to save a tract of land from commercial development.
