Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of System and Concurrent Engineering Section SYS in the Directorate of Technology, Engineering and Quality TEC. Overview As part of the System team in the projects office, the holder of the position will Support Avionics and space electronics procurements from early definition phase through to qualification phase. Maintain interfaces with the relevant Contractors and subsystems responsible industryresearch institute for the assigned projects as well as with the specific support at ESA PA, EEE Parts expert, . Support system reviews of the assigned projects as required and follow up technical issues arising on the assigned projects and participate in risk reduction activities. Specific qualification requirements A Master degree in a relevant engineering disciplinetogether with a minimum of 4 years working experience in Space Engineering. Expert knowledge of space electronics in particular avionics and communication subsystems through the complete lifecycle including design, development and AIVqualification. Knowledge ofexperience in the practical application of engineeringquality standards would be an asset. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. SENIOR SPACE SYSTEMS ENGINEER to OHB Sweden OHB Sweden is developing complete satellites and subsystems for many different space application, for example Communication, Earth Observation, Weather and Science. We are now starting several new projects and are involved in some of the most advanced stateoftheart missions such as space debris removal and asteroid exploration. As Senior Space System Engineer you will be part of the team that develop our satellite system and will work in a generalist role together with experts in different specialist disciplines. We are looking for experienced Space System Engineers that can take overall responsibility for a complete satellite architecture. Position requirements Masters degree in Spacecraft or equivalent field 57 years relevant work experience Advantageous MechanicalThermal, ElectricalRFEMC, Data handlingSoftware, Embedded Systems, Attitude and orbit control Orbital mechanics, ECSS Fluent in English and technical documentation in English All of our projects involve a very broad range of expertise, covering for example design, mechanical analysis, software, operations, radiation, EMC, electrical, thermal, testing, and integration. This requires a broad and flexible skill set for all those working at OHB Sweden. The work is mostly executed in a typical office environment, but the hardware is handled in our own clean rooms, electrical labs, propulsion labs, and environmental labs. So being comfortable in a typical engineering officeproject environment, whilst also being comfortable in a lab environment, is very important. Team working and ability to work autonomously are key to a typical day. OHB Sweden is not a large company, and much of the expertise lies on the Engineers and Technicians to handle these tasks quickly, efficiently and work closely with your colleagues!
