A vacancy for an EEE Parts Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in either Portsmouth or Stevenage. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Gating new components introduction upon internal customer request, as well as second sources upon strategy, through to the approved part list and application engineering. Writing the compliance matrix, the EEE parts plan and the EEE parts section of the Product Assurance PA plan. Releasing of BOMs to ensure consistency with strategy. Ensuring links and accountability for EEE and PCB matters with final customer from review of requirements to submission of parts approval to customers. Linking to local QualityPA, preparation of deviations to EEE and PCB requirements Request for deviation, Requests for waiver, supporting to NCR and in charge of NRBs towards final customers. Contributing to EEE parts roadmap to prepare EEE future in anticipation collect harmonize EEE needs and ensure application. Supporting local design teams on EEE and PCB technicalapplication topics. Maintaining a high level of expertise in EEE parts application with the adequate recognition of customers and space agencies, maintaining a transnational Application Engineering network. Support EEE and PCB risk management. Reporting EEE and PCB issuesopportunities between EEE centre and internal customer to ensure optimum operation. Ensure implementation of EEE and PCB alerts for internal customer PCNRANWNDWN. The role includes full design life cycle from the requirements capture stage through design, production and test to verification and commissioning of Imager Electronic systems. Key Tasks Work with team to generate requirements. Conception of design solutions Trade off bought in equipment vs in house design Schematic capture board level design if required Circuit simulation where required.
