European apparel imports have recovered in the second quarter this year, even surging on eastern European markets, whereas US imports were more clearly falling. Other markets are further emerging outside Europe and the United States, as reflected by our 4-year data. Our report provides a comprehensive view of global apparel import data from 1st half 2012, per final market. Data include apparel imports in dollar terms, growth rates, and percentage change over the 2012-2016 period, covering the two first quarters and the first half. All data can be easily downloaded through our csv files.

Shipments to the European Union have recovered in the meantime, due to a fall of average unit prices in knit clothing categories, as reflected by our detailed product data.
