Artificial Intelligence Engineer 1998061 Job Description We are looking to expand our current team supporting our customer the European Space Agency, at their establishment in Frascati Italy. You will provide support in the area of artificial intelligence AI for a wide variety of Earth Observation data exploitation projects. The aim of these projects is to define, develop and maintain applications that can support endusers to better exploit the vast amounts of EO data currently collected by the Agency. This includes developing applications based on applying AI techniques to EO data and supporting the lifecycle of future and operational programmes with tasks such as Support the identification of use cases and applications for AI Support the analysis of AI architectures Support the development of prototypes to rapidly assess new ideas Support the integration and validation of developed applications Support the preparation of datasets and other relevant material for AIbased activities Required Skills and Experience University degree in Computer Science, GeoInformatics or a technical field providing similar competences 2 to 4 years of professional experience applying AI and Machine Learning ML techniques to the creation of software applications Desirable Skills and Experience Demonstrable experience in applying AI and ML techniques in the EO domain Knowledge of the Agencys Exploitation Platform programme Demonstrable experience in High Throughput Computing, High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing stack, Big Data or other distributed computing technologies Knowledge of ECSS standards, PMI or other project management standards Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management practices Work Location Frascati, Italy Dates Application Deadline 17 January 2020 Start of Work July 2020 Important Notes Before applying to this position, please read the page Notes to Applicants on the Solenix website under Career.
