The Orange County Land Trust will host a “Natural and Human History Interpretive Hike” on Aug. 15 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Fuller Mountain Preserve, 70 Bowen Road, Warwick. Expert guide and naturalist Gary Keeton will provide a historical overview of human, animal and plant life on the mountain while leading guests on a moderate hike up to a scenic overlook of the Warwick Valley.

Most of us probably wouldn't expect to see a piece of Hawaiian culture in West Michigan, but the Honolulu House in downtown Marshall is just that. The house was the brainchild of Judge Abner Pratt and built back in the 1800s after his trip to the Hawaiian Islands.
