(Telecompaper) Telenor plans to sell its telecom operations in India. The operator is looking for a valuation ranging between USD 1.6 billion and USD 1.8 billion (approximately INR 110 120 billion), The Economic Times reports, citing two unnamed people familiar with the matter. However, market experts claim Telenor may at best be able to get around USD 1 billion (INR 68 billion), with spectrum being the main saleable asset. A Telenor spokesperson declined to comment.
