Polyester fiber prices have declined slightly in the past days in China. There are signs that they could bottom out once again, however, in line with a possible recovery of material costs. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fibers (PSF) and the Polyester Filament Yarns (POY, DTY, FDY) in China, India, and Pakistan. Cotton yarn prices have slightly risen in India, after the cotton market has more clearly bottomed out in the past week. The recovery in yarn prices needs to be confirmed, however.
