The football team's ownership announced Friday the signing of a purchase agreement for an Eagan property that could become its headquarters and training facility. The 185-acre parcel was once home to Northwest Airlines' corporate headquarters.

(Telecompaper) Mobile Vikings will stop offering services in the Netherlands by the end of the year. No explanations have been given. Customers have been informed of the decision. On its website, the company said that all Sim cards and all Vikings Account would be deactivated from 1 December. These will remain in use until 30 November, as will all call credit and discounts. A spokesman for the Belgian MVNO told Zdnet that competition was difficult for providers of prepaid telecom services, in a market dominated by subscription-based deals. Mobile Vikings offers prepaid deals focused on data. The company added that it could not really make a profit from data roaming in the Netherlands and that its network speed was too low. The MVNO launched services in the Netherlands in December 2012, providing prepaid bundles with a focus on mobile data. Mobile Vikings has around 4500 customers in the Netherlands, according to Telecompaper.

A Viracon worker prepared a panel of glass for shipping to the installer for construction of the new Vikings stadium. That reality had forklifts darting across Viracon's sprawling factory in Owatonna on a recent Thursday as workers hustled to finish the 10,000 or so glass panels needed to complete the facade.
