By allowing access to on-line Onshape account from inside VisualCAD, VisualIMPORT for Onshape lets users view and import part files. Imported files can then be used with such VisualCAD plug-ins as VisualCAM to create cutter paths for CNC machining (Subtractive Manufacturing) and Visual3DPRINT to make the models amenable for 3D printing (Additive Manufacturing). As fully cloud-based 3D CAD system, Onshape enables collaboration between whole design team via any Web browser, phone, or tablet.
