You will be responsible for the production and delivery of high quality satellite imagery and data products. You will provide support to the various projects and imaging campaigns. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Perform general tasks to support the DMCii Operations Team and Project Managers. Image classification. Mosaic. Map production. Orthorectification and generation of image products. Cloud cover analysis of image products. Product quality control. Technical documentation. Image and data product preparation for marketing and bid support. Technical support for marketing and bid activities. Where necessary, assist in the development of systems, products and processes by performing additional tasks that may include Requirements capture, definition, tailoring and analysis. Background research. Process and procedure definition. Development support. Testing. Document generation and support. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience A degree or equivalent in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geographical Sciences, Physics, Maths or a similar discipline. Experience with Satellite based optical imagery. Experience with standard image processing techniques. Experience in remote sensing and generation of derived products using remote sensing techniques. Excellent knowledge in remote sensing software, such as ENVI. Good knowledge of remote sensing, image processing and applied techniques. Excellent knowledge in GIS software such as ArcGIS. Good knowledge in IDL, STK, Keystone, OrthoVista is advantageous. Excellent ability to work in a team and independently. Good technical writing and presentation skills.
