FCC votes in favor of net neutrality, reclassifies ISPs

Earlier today, the FCC voted three-to-two in favor of reclassifying internet service providers as common carriers under Title II of the Communications Act of 1934. Under this classification, the FCC will now have the authority to enforce net neutrality for American ISPs.

In statement, Donna Harman said, "We are concerned that EPA is headed down the path of imposing another costly, more stringent limit that would have a negligible impact on overall air quality."
