000 ABNT20 KNHC 111743 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Mon Sep 11 2017 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently downgraded Tropical Storm Irma, located inland near the Florida- Georgia border, and on Hurricane Jose, located a couple of hundred miles north-northeast of the Turks and Caicos Islands. A tropical wave located several hundred miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Some development of this system is possible during the next day or two before upper-level winds become hostile for tropical cyclone formation. The Weather Prediction Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Jose, located a couple of hundred miles northeast of the Turks and Caicos Islands. A tropical wave located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Some development of this system is possible during the next couple of days before upper-level winds become unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation. The Weather Prediction Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Jose, located a couple hundred miles north-northeast of Puerto Rico. An area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical wave located a few hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands has not become any better organized during the day.
