FLEXcombo, a member of the FLEX Family of vaccines, will be available in a new 50-dose presentation starting January, in addition to a 250-dose presentation, giving producers and veterinarians a choice of sizes that best fit their operations and number of pigs to vaccinate, with less wasted vaccine. read more

Ebola buster booster vaccine starts first trials in Oxford

Scientists at Oxford University have launched the first clinical tests of a new Ebola vaccine approach, using a booster developed by Denmark's Bavarian Nordic that may improve the effects of a shot from GlaxoSmithKline. Thirty healthy volunteers in Britain who have already received the experimental Ebola vaccine being developed by GSK and the US National Institutes of Health will get the booster shot, researchers said on Thursday.

Experimental Ebola Vaccine Shows Promise: Researchers

An experimental Ebola virus vaccine tested at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda shows promising results, and has medical researchers planning to accelerate the pace of human trials. The vaccine to prevent Ebola virus disease produced antibodies in all 20 healthy adults who received it in a clinical trial.
