Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include ETC2 frontend Angular framework Add unit and regression tests. Replace the CSS framework SemanticUI with Bootstrap. Implement state management e.g. ngrxstore. Documentation for frontend developersmaintainers. Unified Observing Tool Design, implement and web test user interfaces for the new unified observing tool using Angular, GraphQL, REST. Phase12 ETC2 interface Components design and implementation. Designimplement dynamic ETC2 IP driven config instrument dependent adapters. Support for persistent sessions. Access to ETC through user portal. More specifically the following tasks are foreseen for the first 3 months Get familiar with the frontend application, framework and interfaces. Replace SemanticUI CSS framework with Bootstrap, including support for mobile devices. Update the code base to work with the latest versions of Typescript, Angular and HighCharts in a standard way. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in computer science, physics or equivalent. Description Design and Analysis of launch vehicle Propulsion elements and configurations in concert with Structures subsystem. Specific focus on Propellant lines design analysis. Responsibilities Participate in subsystem design and architecture of pressurefed liquid rocket engine, including component sizing, loads determination, and detailed designanalysis. Perform thermal mechanical load analysis for propellant lines including cryogenics and fuel lines as well as high pressure gas lines. Create and manage test and development plans for engines and propulsion components. Perform analysis and interpretation from Propulsion test and flight data. Design of primary metallic structures different size range of machined components, sheet metal parts for propellant lines cryogenics, fuel and gas fitting. Design of secondary structures as brackets or supports for rigid pipes, valves, mechanism, propulsion components electrical harness, etc. Generation of Engineering documentation such as 3D models, Drawings, BOMs, and Eng. Change Notes for the complete definition of Detailed Parts, Assemblies, and Installation. Maintain and improve program standard approaches to design, safety factors, material allowables, drafting standards, etc. Liaise with others Engineering departments Structures design and stress, MP, Quality, etc. and provide information to the Manufacturing area under request. Responsible to accomplish with specifications and requirements during the development of the assigned tasks or product design along the entire lifecycle and across all phases from Prototype, Testing and Series production. Participate in the periodic design reviews dealing with SCHManufacturing for the achievement of requirements, specifications, feasibility, lead time and prices. Continuous research to optimize design solutions. Identify and recommend opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Complete the assigned tasks on time, on quality, on cost. Required competences Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Bachelors degree or demonstrable relevant experience in lieu thereof. Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Aerospace Industry as Propulsion design analysis engineer or Structural Design Engineer or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in design analysis of Launcher Propulsion or Aircraft Propulsion. Knowledge in selection and application of design criteria and rules, Aerospace standards, materials, strengths, and other mechanical properties, according to the loading conditions, working environment, etc. High degree of CAD competence and PDM tools. Valued competences Familiar with the main manufacturing technologies and capabilities Knowledge of the most common corrosion prevention rules and surface protection. Knowledge of the most common cryogenic LOX cleaning procedures. Knowledge of Cryogenic LOX manipulation. Proven in the development of products from the original concept design according to Aerospace normative and rules, through to the delivery of detailed technical design packaging into final production. Design focused to assembly line concerns, tooling, and jigs. Familiar with Aerospace standard parts and typical light materials, metallic and nonmetallic. Preferred software Siemens NX and Teamcenter. An occasional need to travel with the role will be required. Selfmotivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, dealing with situations that are constrained by time and managing different tasks at once. Able to work autonomously with little supervision. Fluent written and oral communication Spanish and English. Experience 5 years experience minimum in design of Launcher Propulsion or Aircraft Propulsion. 5 years experience in parametric modelling software. Experience in Rockets Aircraft Structural Design is a plus.

Specific qualification Requirements MSc. in Aerospace Engineering or relevant discipline, with a minimum of 4 years relevant working experience. Relevant experience of application of RAMS engineering to space programs, including in ground andor ground based systems and operations. Experience in design and engineering of safety critical systems. A handson knowledge of the RAMS analyses and methodologies Hardware and Software, preparation of relevant RAMS documentation during the overall project lifecycle and application of ECSS dependability and safety standards. Experience in dependability and safety engineering management processes and objectives and experience during operations is an advantage. Experience in the field of ground safety and projects assistance in obtaining the relevant launch centre safety certification is an advantage. Knowledge of RTCADO178C Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification and related certification schemes, and experience in interfacing certification authorities is considered an asset. Knowledge of EU Safety Directive as Directive 9837EC Machinery, Directive 9992EC Risk from Explosive Atmospheres, Directive 9723EC Pressure Equipment and other safety directives relevant for space is considered an asset. Familiarity with space product assurance practices together with a good working knowledge of appropriate RAMS tools is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree organizational and communication abilities, and comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
