DHX Media to buy Vancouver-based Nerd Corps for up to $57 million

DHX Media Ltd. has agreed to pay up to $57 million to acquire Nerd Corps Entertainment Inc., which has an animation studio in Vancouver that produces content for television, mobile and online media. Among the Nerd Corps original properties is "Slugterra," which has been broadcast in more than 150 countries including Disney XD in Canada and the United States.
