Nokia wins USD 137 mln arbitration award in BlackBerry licensing dispute

(Telecompaper) Nokia has won USD 137 million in back licensing payments from BlackBerry in a ruling by the International Chamber of Commerce's International Court of Arbitration.  has ruled against the company in a contract dispute with Nokia Corporation. BlackBerry said it accepts the decision but is continuing with a separate case of patent infringement against Nokia.

DENMARK - Danish Crown AmbA and Tican amba have today received the award in the arbitration case to decide whether Tican was entitled to compensation of DKK 20 million following the cancelled merger between Danish Crown and Tican.
