A vacancy for a System Engineer Electrical systems for radar applications mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join Electrical Systems, Germany. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Taking central responsibility for the work package Electrical Systems Engineering for Radar Applications and for deliveries of the related items hardware, models, documentation on space programmes during the BCD phases Coordinating the electrical team, if in place Being the point of contact to the customers and suppliers for all ELSYS subjects Analysing applicable high level requirements Cascading the requirements mentioned above to the functional chains and subsystem electrical requirements Defining the electrical architecture of the radar payload Defining System components such as Radar RF Frontend items TransmittingReceiving Modules, distribution networks, etc. Antenna Control Electronics Antenna Power SupplyDistribution System and Units Other as necessary on a casebycase basis Coengineering with suppliers Coordinating the relevant design and MAIT activities at the supplier level Supporting project team members and other disciplines for ELSYS matters Supporting relevant operations and AIT activities at the System level Contributing to related internalexternal RD and improvementstandardisation initiatives. This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. New High Temperature Ceramic MLCs Are A "HiT" With Demanding Applications

The Knowles capacitor brands of Novacap and Syfer Technology recently announced the joint launch of a new range of MLC chips with an operating temperature range of -55 to +200 degrees Celsius, and are suitable for a variety of high temperature applications. They will launch this series of MLCCs in Booth 20 at HiTEC 2016, on May 10 and 11 at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North, New Mexico.
