Responsibilities Duties The candidate will participate to all aspects of the software life cycle from design through development, support and reengineering, validation and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high quality reliable software to satisfy our demanding customers. The systems are primarily Linux based, developed in C and Java, and involve recent new architecture and technologies. English documentation and effective support to customer onsite is also required. Initially the candidate will be employed as software engineer. There is the possibility to evolve into a position of team leading. QualificationsExperience University Degree in informaticsmathematics physics A strong experience in software development and maintenance is required, ideally at least two years of software development involving requirements analysis, design, development using the C and Java programming languages, testing, and documentation. Essential Skills C and Java programming languages Source Code Control System SVN or Git Development on Linux systems Basic Linux system administration, shell scripts, make, gcc, debugging Eclipse IDE Fluency in spoken and written English Desirable Skills Software design using UML Eclipse RAP RCP Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Gerrit Space related standards like the ECSS standards for space software development. The test means are composed of various kinds of products according to needs and functions based on entirely digital or hybrid simulators with electrical interfaces to satellites. In particular, you will be in charge of the design, developmentintegrationvalidation of satellite equipment digital models. These models will be a part of a comprehensive simulator work process for internal users satellite validation and external customers operation simulator. Once you have acquired the necessary level of competence in the products and applications, you will also help to provide user support, analyse needs and develop technical solutions.
