German researchers hack Galaxy S5 fingerprint login
2014-04-16 15:53:02| InfoWorld: Top News
It took just four days for German researchers to trick the Samsung Galaxy S5's fingerprint scanner into accepting a mold of a fingerprint instead of a real finger. Fortunately, the researcher hasn't yet found a way of starting a Model S without the key fob, but given how security always eventually falls to hackers, it's just a matter of time.
