As a softwarefirmware engineer you have the knowledge of software and firmware development according to the latest development principles, the design, simulation, implementation and verification of FPGA circuits with HDL. You are interested in security and cryptography and you like to bring this together in new applications. You will join a multidisciplinary team that delivers software and firmware in sprints and which is responsible for the complete development cycle. Skills and competencies to be successful You have a broad interest in technology and development of high tech systems and you like to work and develop outside you knowledge area. You have Completed Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded System or Technical Software Engineering Knowledge or experience as electronics design engineer embedded system engineer Knowledge or experience as FPGA developer using HDL VHDL, Verilog and HLS Knowledge or experience with assembly or embedded C for microcontrollers Knowledge or experience using various common digital interfaces Knowledge or experience of functional and performance testing, debugging of FPGA and microcontrollers You have demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills while working in a team. Eligibility for an EU Personal Security Clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL and above is part of the selection procedure. Galileo is Europes own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites.
