Qualcomm results fall in line with outlook, reaches interim licensing deal with Huawei

(Telecompaper) Qualcomm reported revenues for its fiscal first quarter to December down 20 percent from a year earlier to USD 4.8 billion, in line with its outlook. The company said it reached an interim agreement in its licensing dispute with Huawei to receive partial payment of royalties, but was still not receiving any revenue from Apple. Revenues are forecast to fall again in the March quarter, by up to 16 percent.
NTT Q1 results up in line with FY growth outlook

(Telecompaper) Japanese operator NTT reported operating revenues for its fiscal first quarter to June up 3.4 percent year-on-year to JPY 2.81 trillion. Operating profit improved 0.9 percent to JPY 492 billion, and net profit was up 11.4 percent to JPY 271.5 billion. NTT said the results put it on track to meet its forecast for a small rise in full-year results.

Proximus domestic results up slightly, in line with outlook

(Telecompaper) Belgian operator Proximus reported second-quarter revenues of EUR 1.417 billion, down 3.1 percent from a year ago as growth in TV and mobile was offset by a continued fall in fixed voice and at the international operation BICS. Total domestic revenues increased 0.3 percent to EUR 1.105 billion, in line with the company's forecast for stable revenue over the full year.

Omega Protein corporation reported 55% year-over-year revenue growth in its fourth-quarter 2014 financial report, driven in large part by the contribution of omega-3 specialty supplier Bioriginal, which the company acquired in September of last year. That acquisition was part of the company's multi-year strategy to move away from being solely a fishing company that sold fish meal and oil to a balanced human and animal nutrition company.
