A number of positions at the West Lafayette operation of Chemtura Corp. will be eliminated due to a company-wide restructure. The company, which focuses on specialty chemicals for various industrial sectors, announced a restructuring plan in November to reduce manufacturing conversion costs by about $50 million, or 10 percent annually.

The battery-operated penlike vape devices come in a rainbow of colors and designs and are commonly filled with a mix of liquid nicotine and a flavor called "juice," with colorful names such as Cotton Candy Clouds and Insane Candy Cane.
