Palm Beach County commissioners voted unanimously to lift a land-use restriction for United Technologies Corporation to build a regional headquarters on a site off Interstate 95 and Donald Ross Road. Perdue Farms donates land for new Houston Co. fire station

According to a news release, The Board of Commissioners will sign a memorandum of understanding Tuesday with Perdue Farms, which will accept the company's donation of almost five acres of land to build a new fire station along Hwy 247. "The fire station is needed because of the industry in the area and the large number of homes," Tommy Stalnaker, the chairman, said.
