Free WiFi is to be rolled out to all Gloucestershire libraries this year

Internet access is currently available in a number of community libraries but the facility is being rolled out to include all of them with the first to be linked in May. Library users will be able to bring their phone, laptop or tablet when they visit their local branch and use the Wi-Fi to access emails, the internet and to help them with their research or studies or carry out job searches. It will also help people access county council and library services digitally, including online forms and requests for services, whilst further supporting people to use eBooks and eAudiobooks.
