Yarn prices have mostly dropped this year in China, due to excess supply on the domestic market and lower import prices. The spinning mills are however investing in updated equipment and moving to the higher end of the market. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. Historical data are available for download.
