The first in the series, Sentinel1, carries an advanced radar instrument to provide an allweather, dayandnight supply of imagery of Earths surface. The first of two spacecraft was launched in 2014. The second, Sentinel2, is a polarorbiting, multispectral highresolution imaging mission for land monitoring to provide, for example, imagery of vegetation, soil and water cover, inland waterways and coastal areas. Sentinel2 will also deliver information for emergency services. Sentine1 and Sentinel2 spacecraft will be operated from ESOC, in Darmstadt, Germany. The Challenge We are looking for a qualified Spacecraft Operations Engineers SOE to be part of the flight control teams supporting Sentinel1 and Sentinel2 spacecraft operations engineering services.
