In the course of reinforcing the procurement management for its satellite subsystems, comprising platform and payload products, LuxSpace is recruiting a Procurement Subcontractor Manager for immediate employment. Job Profile An experienced procurement and subcontractor manger with the focus on space hardware, preferably with technical background is required to participate in LuxSpace satellite projects. The products of concern will be used for LuxSpace microsatellites as well as for commercial communication satellites realized by the OHBgroup. Activities comprise the complete flow from maintenance of a subcontractor database, maintenance of regular contacts with potential subcontractors and suppliers, conductance of request of proposal campaigns including subsequent contract negotiations up to subcontractor management during project implementation until delivery. Experience of working in the satellite industry and knowledge of ESA workflow methodology is a must. Tasks to be performed Being the focal point for all administrative, commercial and scheduling matters towards subcontractors Maintaining subcontractor supplier database Subcontractor development, auditing and relationship management Issuing requests for information quotation RFIRFQ Preselecting subcontractors suppliers Leading of price contract negotiations Identifying opportunities for long term agreements Implementing subcontractor and supplier management Organizing and chairing of review meetings like EQSR, etc. Candidate Profile and Qualities Good English skills spoken and written Background in satellite subsystems and equipment Experience in subcontractor management Ability to work in a multinational project team Methodical and structured workapproach Willingness to travel Taking responsibility and being proactive Driving license desirable class B EU citizenship or valid Luxembourg work permit mandatory for nationals from nonEUcountries or countries treated as such.
