Paul Gamboa-Taylor, 54, who in 1991 used a ball-peen hammer to kill his wife, two of their three children, his mother-in-law and her 2-year-old son. Daniel Jacobs, 44, convicted in the 1992 stabbing death of girlfriend Tammy Lee Mock, 18. Also serving life for the murder of their daughter, 7-month-old Holly Danielle Jacobs.

Multnomah County has developed a draft 20-year Capital Improvement Plan for its six Willamette River Bridges: the Broadway, Burnside, Hawthorne, Morrison, Sauvie Island and Sellwood. The plan identifies a 20-year program of necessary capital projects and associated funding needs to maintain and seismically retrofit the countys Willamette River bridges for the period 2015-2034. The public will have several opportunities to learn about the plan and comment on it this month.
