Südwolle aligns with supply chain partners in Turkey

German wool-based yarn supplier Südwolle Group, which is one of the world's largest spinners of pure wool and wool blend worsted yarns, has established a new subsidiary in Turkey as part of efforts to be more responsive to industry demands.

Turkey announces winners of 4.5G tender

(Telecompaper) Turkey's telecommunications authority BTK announced that it sold a total 365.4 MHz frequency during the 4.5G tender held on 26 August to all the participants of the tender, namely Turkcell, Vodafone Turkey and Avea. The frequencies will be used for providing mobile internet speeds through IMT-Advanced technology also named 4.5G as of 1 April 2016. An income of EUR 3.356 billion was obtained, which is above the minimum value of tender by 46.04 percent as a result of the competitive environment. The total VAT included tender price was TRY 13 billion (EUR 3.960 billion). Subscribers who have 4.5G compatible mobile phones and SIM cards will start using the 4.5G service from 1 April 2016.

Crown to open second beverage can line in Turkey

Crown Holdings is planning to open a second beverage can line at its plant in Osmaniye, Turkey, with operations expected to begin in the first quarter of 2017. Crown has two beverage can plants in Turkey, in Izmit and Osmaniye.

DyDo Drinco targets Turkey with US$110m Yildiz move

Mulberry accused of union "inaction" in Turkey
