The Devil Wears Prada? The luxury brand feted in the 2006 comedy with Meryl Streep has taken a 35 per cent hit to the perceived value of its brand. The value of the top 10 luxury-goods brands fell 6 per cent, or $US7.1 billion, to $US105 billion as companies from Prada to Cartier grappled with slowing sales in China and Russia, according to a global market report.
