Authorities searched a Delta Air Lines Inc. flight and planes flown by several other airlines Monday following anonymous telephone threats against commercial flights. Searches were conducted at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and in Newark and Boston, USA Today reports.

A group of online travel Web sites claims Delta Air Lines Inc. and other airlines are cutting off price and schedule data from the sites, reducing travelers' ability to comparison shop for tickets. A May 19 report prepared for the Travel Technology Association says "some airlines are attempting to restrict access to their fare and schedule information, reduce the ability of consumers to easily compare prices, and drive travelers to their own websites, which do not offer price comparisons with other airlines."
