For the location in Darmstadt, Germany we are looking for a Mission Control System Integration and Verification Engineer fm at Eumetsat. Tasks The EUMETSAT TSS Technical and Scientific Support Department provides in an integrated manner scientific and engineering support to EUMETSATs programmes during the development and operations phases, and process assurance project control to the whole organisation. Within the TSS Department, the GSI Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division is in charge of engineering, maintaining and upgrading generic ground segment functions, services, infrastructure and tools in response to requirements of operational and future programmes. The Mission Control Applications and Tools Team under the GSI Division is responsible for the maintenance and evolution of all Satellite and Ground Segment MC applications and tools. This includes MC kernel, MC archive, Flight Dynamics, Mission Planning functions and the MCrelated tools. The key person shall work in the TSS Department as a member of the Mission Control Applications and Tools Team, which is part of the GSI Division. The key person will provide hisher prime support to the integration and verification testing of the Monitoring Control System, but will also support integration and verification activities at Mission Control Function level including Flight Dynamics and Mission Planning Systems. The tasks of the key person will typically include Integration Verification activities Integration of the various components of a Monitoring Control System and integration of the Monitoring Control System with the rest of systems in the Mission Control Function. These integration activities include software deployment, software configuration, adjustment of interfaces, analysis and solution to problems. Generation and updates of test plan and test procedures both for the Monitoring Control System and at Mission Control Function level. This activity covers functional verification testing and nonregression testing manual and automatic testing. Execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing campaigns. This activity includes running the test procedures on the target system, generation of test reports, analysis of results, troubleshooting of problems.
