GaN MMIC PAs Support The Rapid Growth Of Ku Band Applications
2016-02-03 14:28:46| rfglobalnet Home Page
Ku Band has become an essential part of the radio frequency spectrum since it was opened for satellite communications over two decades ago. New systems within commercial satellites use the Ku Band to provide worldwide coverage, which is especially attractive for government and military communications. Since the future of this band generates such a high interest, Wolfspeed, a Cree company, offers Ku Band power products using its proven fabrication process of GaN on silicon-carbide substrates. This white paper discusses the new GaN MMIC PAs and how they are able to support the future growth of Ku Band applications.
