As a counterpart to the global PR Manager, you ensure that the corporate profile, strategy and narrative are adopted by media, policy makers and the general public. Responsibilities Publications production Manage the timely and cost effective production of SES corporate publications Annual Report, corporate brochures, white papers, whether print, audiovisual or electroniconline, in close cooperation with the Content Editor who is responsible for the content creation Conferences speeches Manage the positioning and activities at major industry or topical conferences, prepare the related programmes, panels, speeches, presentations and sponsoring packages Technology Develop and manage space technology topics and stories space narrative, satellite fleet procurement and operation, innovation in space, rockets and satellite launches and related events, support for the Chief Technology Officer Topics issues Manage and develop the corporate topics and issues and the respective tools topic matrix in close cooperation with the content editor, issues matrix in close cooperation with the Press Office Administrator CSR Develop and implement the Corporate Social Responsibility programme of SES. Develop and support sustainability criteria and engagements of SES. Develop SESs positions in thought leadership and societal programmes and engagements. Represent SES as required in cultural institutions and business organisations Provide leadership and coordinate the work of a team composed of a Press Officer and an Editor Support other communications projects as required. The objectives of LuxGovSat are the acquisition, the launch and the operation of a satellite for the provision of governmental and defence communication services. The new satellite, GovSat1, will bring new capacity in governmental frequency bands and feature security capabilities with steerable highpowered spot beams. In a unique PublicPrivate Venture, it will ensure the security, reliability and flexibility for the everchanging missions of governments and institutions in the security, defence and civil areas. The launch of the satellite is scheduled for the second quarter of 2017. The spacecraft will be positioned at the orbital position 21.5 degrees East and will cover Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Responsibilities The Senior Manager, Governmental Satellite Communications is an expert in contracting satcom services and solutions to governmental and institutional users for civilian and defence use. HeShe is helping positioning LuxGovSat as a leading player in the GOVSATCOM valuechain. The position is responsible to achieve and develop the planned revenues and backlog. The position also plays a strong advisory and lobbying role to leverage LuxGovSats ambitions and strategy at Government and Institutional level NATO, MoDs , EEAS, FRONTEX, EMSA, ESA,UNUNagencies .
