For immediate commencement of employment for our site in Antwerp, we are looking for SYSTEM ENGINEERS specialised in Navigation, Radar or Communication Systems Job description Support of satellite projects from the predevelopment phase up to spacecraft integration Support of proposal preparation as well as evaluation of subcontractor proposals Assessment and evaluation of subsystem relevant concept trades across feasibility and predevelopment studies Analysis of system requirements and extraction of Navigation, Radar or Communication subsystem relevant requirements Definition of requirements as well as generation and maintenance of specifications for the Navigation, Radar or Communication subsystem equipment Production and maintenance of documentation analyses, specifications, test procedures, reports and design descriptions Design and configuration of Navigation, Radar or Communication subsystems for satellite applications Support of system reviews as well as support and coordination of subsystem reviews Technical coordination of work with customers, vendors and subcontractors Cooperation with project team, system engineering and other divisions Presentation of work results internally and in front of the customer Development of test concepts and provision of suitable support during test phase Job Experience Competences Master degree in electrical engineering, communication engineering or comparable qualification A PhD in a Navigation, Radar or Communication topic would be an advantage Professional experience in phase BCD in Navigation, Radar or Communication projects would be an advantage Excellent communication skills High degree of flexibility Enjoy teamwork in large projects Ability to work effectively and independently Experience in dealing with customers and vendors would be an advantage Fluency in spoken and written English Willingness to travel

EPSSG System Engineers 3 positions 1713085 Job Description We are looking for 3 EPSSG System Engineers for our client EUMETSAT. The activities include overall system aspects involving the space segment satellites and the ground segment, consisting of the data acquisition systems, monitoring and control systems, data processing facilities and product dissemination facilities. The focus will be on Satellite and operational related aspects within the system. Your tasks and responsibilities will typically include the following Contribute to general system engineering activities Analysis and trade off activities Preparation and maintenance of system technical specification. Documentation of system design and justification Ad hoc internal reviews System level formal reviews. Ground segment level activities as required Support IVV activities Satellite MC Ensuring that operational aspects from operations concept etc are adequately reflected in the system technical specifications and design. Provide input and support to the customisation of the Packet Utilisation Standard PUS specific to EPSSG and documentation of the results. Provide input and support to the customisation of other satellite related ECSS standards Requirements maintenance Maintain the system specification tree and baseline. Analyse new versions of lower level technical documents for coherence with system and incorporation into system baseline. Act as book captain for the System Requirements Document SRD. Collating and analysing comments, proposed changes from internal and external reviews and making recommendations on newupdated requirements. Maintain the traceability of system requirements to higher and lower level specifications using DOORs. ICD design and maintenance Implementation of any changes to the system model identified in order to aid the interface documentation. Coordination and definition of technical interfaces with the external partners and service providers Organisehold meetings and workshops with external and major internal interface partners to establish interface detailsagreements Generate and maintain the system Interface Control Documents ICD. Maintenance of the EPSSG system level model using the Vitech CORE modelling tool. Ensuring the model is up to date with any system level changesevolution especially in the area of interfaces Configuration control and documentation of the system model Update of the model with respect to interfaces at system level Coordination with the ground segment for model updates to ensure consistency between systemground segment These activities will involve interactions with other EUMETSAT divisions. Travel within Europe, to the United States and possibly other parts of the world may have to be undertaken for certain tasks. Required Skills and Experience University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems. Experience of Satellite Monitoring and Control using ECSS PUS standards services. Capability to prepare system requirements and design documents, and to perform systemlevel analyses for complex polar satellite systems. Experience of requirements management using formal configuration control proceduresprocesses. Experience of writing technical requirements preferably to ECSS standards Experience of establishing and maintaining traceability between different levels of technical specifications. Experience of interface management and definition. Familiarity with mechanisms and tools for detailed interface definition. Demonstrated capability to prepare and manage ICD. Experience in system modelling Experience of interface management and definition. Desirable Skills and Experience Familiarity with the CORE design tool from Vitech. Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering MBSE Experience with DOORs.
