Sonoco , one of the largest diversified global packaging companies, has been listed on the 2014/2015 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index , marking the sixth consecutive year it has received the prestigious recognition - the longest consecutive streak of any packaging company currently listed on the index. Only 319 global component companies were selected to the DJSI World Index following an in-depth analysis of financially material economic, environmental and social practices by RobecoSAM's Corporate Sustainability Assessment of more than 3,000 invited companies.

Air Products has again achieved a leadership position among the top 10 percent of companies in its industry as a component of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index 2014/2015, a gold standard benchmark for corporate sustainability performance. Environmental investigator urges Jones County to issue public nuisance against oil and gas co.

Bob Bowcock, chief environmental investigator for Erin Brockavich, is investigating a lawsuit between a Jones County family, Petro Harvester Oil and Gas Company, and others tied to Petro. Bowcock says a public nuisance declaration would help short circuit the process of getting the Department of Environmental Quality and the Mississippi Oil and Gas Board to extensively test for toxic chemicals.
